Day Centre Support Worker for Adults with LD

If so we may have the role for you…… We are looking for Support Workers who have had experience with supporting Adults aged between 18 - 65 with Learning Disabilities. This will be 1-2-1 support with the client in a day centre so you must be flexible to work between the hours 9 - 4 Monday to Friday. You must be able to: * Interact and build relationships with the client * Co-ordinate, promote and engage in activities * Promote independence to the clients * Participate in the implementation and monitoring of care plans * Maintain good communications and continuity of work practice within the home * Write reports Requirements/Skills: * DBS Certificate on the Update Service * A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Adults with Learning Disabilities and Challenging behaviours * Be able to provide Personal Care * Manual Handling Training as you will need to use hoists, help client in and out of wheelchairs etc Salary: GBP 24000 - 36000 per year Experience: 3 years required
