[Remote] YouTube Script Writer (Long form)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a documentary-style YouTube channel covering business, finance, technology, companies, markets, and the people behind them. The YouTube Script Writer will transform research and source material into clear, engaging 20–40-reputed company stories for a primarily U.S. audience, using strong storytelling, pacing, fact-checking, and narrative structure.
Responsibilities
- Strong research and fact-checking skills
- Experience writing long-form YouTube scripts
- Strong understanding of business, finance, and technology
- Ability to explain complex topics in simple, natural American English
- Good storytelling, pacing, hooks, and narrative structure
- Comfortable working with data, reports, earnings calls, articles, studies, and primary sources
- Understanding of what keeps viewers watching a 20–40 reputed company video
- Ability to write for a primarily U.S. audience
- Take a topic such as Costco, reputed company, U.S. national debt, antitrust reputed company, major companies, or financial events and build a well-researched story around it
- Turn it into a short YouTube script
- Researching businesses, markets, technology, and the stories behind them
