Specialty Care Patient Engagement Team Lead

Job Description:

  • Lead the Patient Engagement Enablement Team and report to the Specialty Care Patient Solutions Strategy and Enablement Lead
  • Partner with Patient Engagement leadership to translate strategy and priorities into clear direction for the Enablement Team
  • Create a high-performing organization through talent planning, career development, performance management, hiring, reviews, compensation, and diversity initiatives
  • Ensure field teams have the tools, content, training, and technology needed to engage patients, caregivers, and key stakeholders
  • Support communication strategy and change management for major initiatives and organizational shifts
  • Oversee GTM Excellence strategy and execution, MLR/RC cycles, targeting and territory models, and program governance
  • Align GTM Excellence strategy and tactics with each program’s lifecycle stage
  • Ensure go-to-market deliverables and tactics launch on time and escalate timeline risks
  • Oversee digital solutions including Polaris, Pharmlogic dashboards, and field- and patient-facing tools
  • Lead the Enablement Team’s engagement on AI strategy and prioritize AI roadmaps
  • Ensure digital and AI capabilities launch on time and are continuously optimized through field feedback
  • Champion data and analytics discipline and coach the team to generate and apply data-driven insights
  • Ensure KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting are defined and maintained across Patient Engagement programs
  • Review analyses and insights before they inform strategic decisions
  • Deliver reporting and actionable insights to Patient Engagement and Patient Solutions leadership
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with brand/marketing, Patient Solutions Enablement, IIS, Digital, GCET, and other partners
  • Improve ways of working across Patient Solutions and CFC teams
  • Prioritize continuous improvement projects, processes, and resources
  • Maintain training roadmaps with GCET so field and program teams are equipped as capabilities roll out

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of combined pharmaceutical or biotech experience spanning Patient Engagement, enablement/operations, patient or consumer marketing, and field enablement
  • Previous people leadership experience, with a track record of leading a high-performing organization
  • Track record of leading enablement functions that build capabilities driving field and program execution
  • Experience building launch plans and powering successful product and/or team launches from planning through execution
  • Experience leading in matrix organizations, including leading without authority
  • Ability to manage both direct and indirect reports
  • Strong data, analytics, and reporting acumen
  • Experience shaping or deploying AI-enabled tools or digital capabilities in a commercial or patient engagement context
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Effective planning, prioritization, and organizational project skills
  • Strong, proven project management skills, demonstrating the ability to deliver multiple time-horizon-focused projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting leaders with communication strategy and change management for large-scale initiatives
  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills
  • Experience communicating to senior leadership and cross-functional audiences
  • Good judgment and high ethics
  • Headquarters knowledge with proven experience working across cross-functional HQ departments, teams, and business units (preferred)
  • Experience leading distributed, cross-disciplinary teams toward a shared strategic outcome (preferred)
  • Experience shaping strategy for specialty care patient engagement (preferred)
  • Advanced degree (preferred)
